Drew McDannald has been training and showing
Arabians, Quarter Horses, Morgans, Paints, and Miniature horses for over 40
years, all the way from the local level to the National level, successfully. His
Amateurs and Youth exhibitors have been just as successful in their endeavors,
with National Championships of their own in disciplines ranging from Western
Pleasure to Pleasure Driving and everything in between. The philosophy has
always been the same, to help each individual reach their own personal goals.
And since everyone's goals are different, everyone gets individual attention.
Drew grew up on a 550-acre horse and cattle ranch. Growing up on a farm with a public training facility gave him a large number of experiences, from foaling mares to fixing fence to finishing national champions. His mother, Dr. Alverda Graff McDannald was a veterinarian, she also was an Arabian Class A judge. She judged the Arabian Nationals twice in the 70’s and 80’s. His father has a horse training facility in Mount Vernon, MO. He has been in the horse business since 1954.
Throughout high school and college he trained horses in the evenings, weekends, and summers. He has a degree in Business and Education from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. After college Drew started teaching and training horses on the side. He has trained horses and amateurs for halter, western pleasure, driving, saddle seat, hunt and reining.
